Nguyen Dieu Hoa makes top five in Mrs World contest - Ba Ria-Vung Tau

Mrs Vietnam Nguyen Dieu Hoa, made the top five in the Mrs World Contest held in Kaliningrat, Russia from June 14-29.


39 year old Dieu Hoa is the second oldest of the contest after the French contestant who is 40 years old.

Nobody could believe that Dieu Hoa had three children: two girls and a boy.

With her cheerful and youthful looks in her swimming costume and charming Ao Dai (traditional Vietnamese long dress), Mrs Vietnam won over most of the spectators at the Kaliningrat theatre.

She could speak Russian quite fluently and so she could talk comfortably with Russian fans.

Mrs Ukraine Shmarennova Natalya won the Mrs World 2008 title. She won others from a Q and A contest. The top five at the event were Mrs Ukraine, Mrs Belarus, Mrs Vietnam, Mrs Peru and Mrs Singapore.

Mrs World Pagaent 2008 spent three minutes on the final night introducing Vietnam’s images, including Thap Rua (Tortoise Tower) and The Huc Bridge in Hanoi Trang Tien Bridge and Hue Citadel in central Hue city Ben Thanh Market and Nha Rong Wharf in Ho chi minh city

Vice chairman of the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ho Van Nien, and Doan Thi Kim Hong, who won first prize at the contest in 2005, announced on the last night that Ba Ria-Vung Tau will host the contest in 2009 and received a certificate from the Mrs World’s organising board.

Late in July, the Mrs World 2008 Shmarennova Natalya and the former Mrs World 2007 Diane Tucker will come to Vietnam to attend a ceremony highlighting the Mrs World Contest in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
